You can use Sleep Bug too :

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Let me know

Hello!

I've found some request for whitelist removal on this forum, but my laptop model is different (I believe it's 59344049), so I decided to create new thread.

Here is my spec:
Lenovo g580: i3110M(HM76), Intel HD4000, 8Gb RAM(upgraded), Win10 x64
BIOS: 5ECN42WW (v.4.01)

Wifi whitelisted card: Broadcom BCM943142HM (PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4365)
Wifi to install: Atheros AR5B95

Made BIOS backup using "fptw -D bios.rom -BIOS" (https://github.com/LongSoft/FTK)
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B2s-xzbYDPMAZzdFV25Rcnl0Q0k&usp=sharing

I had error 104, but I edited fparts.txt file and got .rom file

    EN25QH16    ID:0x1C7015    Size: 2048KB (16384Kb)

Also I'm interested if I should prepare USB stick (need link to guide pls) and on which flash chip I have actual BIOS and why do I need second one?

Thanks in advance!

into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),

So I will explain . . .
The Chipset look to full Eeprom Memory Mam even are two Chips !
It's only an Architectural convenience !

1. Chip 1 has Descriptors - Me - Pdr - GbE Regions
2. Chip 2 has Bios Region
That's it !
