I hope you are still helping People, who need help removing the Wifi Whitelist on Lenovo BIOS.
I have a Lenovo G580(2189) and need to remove the whitelist to install a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 Network Adapter.
I am totally new on this Area, so it would be very nice if someone could help me.

This is my Model:

I will upload my Bios Backup using Universal Bios Backup but i'm not sure if it's the right tool downloaded?

Hi. I have Lenovo G580 with whitelist removed from my bios. I was using BCM43142 and Wifi+BT was working.
When i tryed to change to BCM4312 wifi was working, but bluetooth only in legacy mode (in usefi mode it was not detected)

Now i deided to make hackintosh, and i buyed this wlan card (BCM43225): http://www.ebay.com/itm/271868978244?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

wifi is working, but bluetooth is not working. In legacy mode is not detected too.
I taped pin 51 on wlan card, and nothing... i tryed pin 20 too.

On ebay in BCM43225 description was written: "Not compatible with HP/LENOVO/THINKPAD".
I asked for that, and i get this reply:
I have check this card is an general version card it could not compact with any IBM or HP version laptop,
In normally the wireless card have three version: general version,IBM version and HP version.


So, is there any way to get bluetooth working?
And what is difference between General, IBM, and HP versions?
Is there some pins swaped or anything like that?

Each mod customized for personal laptop and not be share.
To get mod for this laptop requester must save bios dump with Universal Bios Backup v.2.0 and wait when someone enthusiast can complete this request.
At now i'm not interested to mod bioses already completed (modded before).

Hello!
You unlocked WLAN whitelist and you cannot unlock WWAN whitelist???It is too easy.
Just find second module by seeking by mask "broadband" with Total Commander and suppress condidtions for calling procedure of whitelist.
