Still error 28, but i got a screen of the PRR result.

As I said time ago manufacturrs are locking all :

1. Eeprom Memory Write Protect error 28 or 280 (not bypassable)
2. Removing Recovery Procedure

We have only SPI External USB Propgrammer with POMONA Soic Clip to reflash new Bioses (It's not expansive but We ave dismount the laptop) !

No probs, thanks anyway. Oddly I can't even use Lenovo's own BIOS upgrade. Going to try reinstalling Win8 (which is a challenge in itself), then seeing if i can reflash a different Len BIOS from there.

I assume that simply putting your BIOS image into lenovo's flash util won't work?

I think not, but give to me a link to original Bios or upload It for me here and I will try o mod It and You could try to flash It !

Thank you very much, I have updated with this and this has worked, laptop boots now with the updated bios and whitelist is removed. Cheers!!!

any Mod is for Bios Backup owner, so I can upload It on a different server but
You'll get a Laptop Clone as there are Significant Data into backup.
Do a result file and upload It here, so I will make a Mod for You !

i got an error message when i changed my WLAN card to Intel 5100.
Please, is anybody there, who is able to unlock this BIOS, so i am able to use this wifi module ? THX

Hi friend,
try this Bios Mod, follow instructions to Create an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and copy into all files from modified folder, then boot from USB and run Flash.bat :
