I have a Lenovo Ideapad Z500 - and did not realise there was a wifi whitelist until I installed a new card with 5GHz wifi.

The laptop currently runs BIOS 71CN51WW and is available here: http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...cn51ww.exe

Very grateful for any help in removing the whitelist!

If I need to post anything else, let me know.

Kind regards.

Thank you sovem - it worked perfectly! You do amazing work!

Thanks again - you've saved me so much hassle!
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Please help. I have a P400 (v1.21) running Win 8.1. I used the following link to create a USB boot disk.

http://rapidgator.net/file/aed7999f2b7fe...W.rar.html

In order to use this USB DOS Disk, I had to change the BIOS settings to boot with Legacy AND UEFI.

I used the updated BIOS flash software from above at 04-21-2014, 09:25 PM (post #26). (http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Le...6#pid69876) However, I ran into errors with the flashing. Attached are two pictures showing the errors (Error 28, and missing PDR & GBE Regions).

Is the fact that the disk is booting Legacy instead of UEFI the problem?

I can still log into Win 8.1, but now the computer does not recognize any mini pcie wireless cards (my intel 2230 or an intel 6205).

How to I fix the errors in order to correctly flash the modded BIOS? Thank you, in advance, for your help!!! I really appreciate it!!!!
