[REQUEST] Lenovo IdeaPad U310 & U410 (65CNxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Please excuse my ignorance but I have one question:
Do I rename the .rom backup "BIOSBAKK_64.ROM" created by FPT_BACKUP-BIOS.exe to "biosbackup.bin" or do I have to create a .bin format backup of my bios with some other tool? Thanks.

Just rename, file extension .rom or .bin are similar !
Universal Bios Backup generate a .rom and FPT a .bin insydeflash .fd, but all files have the same contain !!!
Check all files by na HexEditor Wink
Only thing important is the file size as Universal Bios Backup sometimes go wrong, but FPT is precise !!!
REgards

All flashed without any issues. My wifi card should arrive in a few days. I'll let you know if there's any problem, which I doubt.
Your help is much appreciated.

Hi friend,
It's very strange as I have got same issue with a second user for U310 - U410 Lenovo Laptop, so i would ask to try this Serg008 Generalized Version based on Original Bios :

http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/5866-LENOVO-(IBM)-Bioses-especially-Thinkpad?p=834969&viewfull=1#post834969

This is the Lenovo Ideapad U310-U410 65CN99WW NWL and is confirmed to work, only It's bases on original and have to be flashed as original, so follow the instructions.
let me know
Regards

P.S. I would to know as I checked It and It has the same mine modify !!!

Thank you for doing this, but my laptop still can't see wireless cards. I moved it into another slot and it still wasn't recognized. I booted into ubuntu and saw it, but it said "hardware switch disabled". I have the same problem when I flash the stock BIOS. Still can't see it's OEM (Intel) wifi card. Is it possible that sector of my BIOS is corrupt? This is what my BIOS looks like after I flashed the mod above:

Thanks for all your help.

Hi,
I have a ideapad U410 with the BIOS 65CN99WW and want to whitelist the BIOS, so I can upgrade a new WIFI-Bluetooth mini card.
I see you have introduced the 'AutoMod' by using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt then we can do the Mod by ourself, I am new to BIOS Mods and want to learn a little bit more.
I then download the UEFIPatch.exe and Mod FTP8.1.rar but the Patches.txt said was deleted and not available to download.
Do you have another link to download the Patches.txt file?
Thanks a million!!
