[REQUEST] Lenovo Ideapad Z575 (54CNxxWW) Whitelist Removal

(08-20-2014, 02:50 AM)BDMaster Wrote: Ok friend,
to flash It from Dos You need a phlash.exe tool, then
You have to prepare an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and copy all files into
then Boot from USB Dos and execute pflash /cvar /bbl /sa /sv /v 54CN18WW.ROM
but You need convert .WPH to .ROM (very complicated).
I suggest to copy bios_mod folder to C HD root rename It as mod, then
much easy is to open a Comand Prompt as Administrator CLI window and You got
C:\ then use a comands sequence :

cd C:\mod
flash.bat

That's It
Let me know
Regards

I had to sign up up to get help with this. I have put in too many hours trying to figure this out.

I have tried running flash.bat as admin and I get the flicker of a cmd prompt.
I have tried running flash.bat not as admin and it will begin analyzing the BIOS, but then the phoenix window in background goes white and asks to close program.
I have run in safe mode, used command prompt as admin, got flash.bat to run(after changing winflash config battery settings to not ask for battery to be plugged in), it showed error 97, then it looked like it started to run, but that also crashed.

I'm at a loss here and I really don't want to burn more time out of my weekend having no idea what I'm doing. I couldn't find anything on converting the 2048kb file to bin/rom and that just gave me a huge headache.

I would seriously appreciate some help. Thanks!

Ok friend,
try this one, right click mouse and run as Administrator :

http://rghost.net/58859361

Attention your actual Bios version into laptop has to be the same = 54CN18WW so if not flash before original 54CN18WW and then Modified One.
Let me know

Here is a picture of what is happening. If I click the program, then a "Close Program" window pops up.

Is there a setting, or a program incompatibility that's possible? I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

TempMode
