Hi sovem

I used that bios patch on my T520 (bios 1.44). after installing my new AC 7260 card. I'm stuck on 802.11a
at 54/mbs.

Could it be related to the patch?

Thx

And yes I have an AC routeur. Netgear R7000

I just flashed my BIOS and hear 2 cycles of 5 short beeps everytime I shutdown and start the computer. the issue started after I moded the BIOS using Sovem's BIOS. I currently have 1.44 version, which I moded. When I googled, Lenovo says it is a "System Board" and another website
http://thinkwiki.de/Error_Codes
says " Security chip does not like Custom-BIOS"

Any ideas?Sad

Hey!

Could somebody please re upload the BIOS file v1.44 for DOS again? Both files are down.

Currently I'm running BIOS v1.44 without removed WL. So I guess I need to flash the BIOS via DOS?

Thanks in advance! :-)

I got a whitelist removed previously in a thread that people have stopped responding to on here and am looking for some help. I got a new Sierra Wireless MC7700 WWAN card and this laptop, regardless of OS, detects it on hotplug then proceeds to disable it completely within a few seconds. The problem cannot be reproduced on my netbook. I'm having a hard time figuring this out and wonder if when I had my previous whitelist removal request it might not have covered this card, so I was wondering, how it worked and if it could somehow be related to this issue. I'm now using a non-stock wlan and non-stock wwan card in the laptop.

Any information would be appreciated.
