First: Thanks for your reply! I do understand the risk to brick my laptop! But Intel 2230 does not work properly with WIN 10.

Hi,
I need a bios mod for a new battery for my E330:
Lenovo Thinkpad E330
Model ThinkPad Edge E330 3354-A68
Bios version: LENOVO 3354A68/3354A68, BIOS H3ET76WW(1.13) 04/15/2016
Original bios: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/h3uj76ww.exe
Bios backup: https://www.sendspace.com/file/i0p7k8
Note: the BIOS has some problems: at boot, when I press F1 for BIOS setup, it ask me for a password but if I press ENTER I can continue to the BIOS setup page.
Then, most of the BIOS menus are grey shaded.(like boot order, security, etc). Everything else works - speed step technology, disable bluetooth, power management, etc.
I wand to install an new battery (model 42T4951) - currently the motherboard do not charge it, but is able to work with it after a BIOS message that tells me it's incompatible with the machine.

Flash went OK.
But the new battery is not charged and at boot I still get the warning message that I ahve an unsupported battery

Hi all!
Since I don't want to ask for every new bios version, this is the question: I'm an IT technician, so my informatic skills are very good; can anyone explain me how to mod the bios of my Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 (motherboard is the same of Lenovo V480s) to install a different WiFi PCI-E card?
First, I don't understand what kind of bios it is (Phoenix/Insyde, etc.), because in the downloaded and then extracted files there is no understandable filename syntax to help recognize it; second, I don't know which string to search and then substitute with the hex editor or with the specific tool.
