Hi,

i am not sure if my patch is complete.
BDMaster may you have a look on the extracted ROM please? I have the feeling that this patch is not completed yet.

The loop should be prevented that way, but i believe that in the routine where the label is loaded there should be another jump

Greetings

ZabbensX

Befor flash, check this recovery procedur: https://www.bios-mods.com/bios-recovery/...-recovery/ when this is working, you are able to recover a broken bios!
Don't flash Bios if you receive a warning or error!
You flash on your own risk! - I am also new to this.

I took another look, but somehow i'am relly unsure the procedure is very nested.
Made another patch, to prevent the call for the label to get loaded.

Hi Zabbensx,
I don't understand why You are using a Bios Module about 65 version when
user aked 72 version modify ?
His Bios Backup is H3ET72WW (1.09) and your is H3ET65WW (1.02) !!!
You haven't change Modules between Bioses as there is locking Bios risk.
The Whitelist is not comple into your Patch, there are many checks yet
You are right !
I would You get the solution by yourself so study yet and let me see . . .

Hi BDMaster,
thanks for your feedback,
will goon searching as soon i got time again (maybe in the evening)
I don't get the Version Problem.
My first idea was a copy past issue. So i started from scratch.
- Downloaded the attached file
- opened it in Andy's Tool
- took the module 79E0EDD7-9D1D-4F41-AE1A-F896169E5216_2415
- compared it with my attached original
=> no differents

Before i proceed I just want to understand how this version conflict can occure.

Thanks a lot

ZabbensX

P.S. did you have a look on my v2 patch?

Hi Zabben,
point me there I haven't got time to look all, please where is v2 !

About Whitelist Module 79E0EDD7-9D1D-4F41-AE1A-F896169E5216_2415

79E0EDD7-9D1D-4F41-AE1A-F896169E5216 = GUID + 2415 = Checksum used by Andy
to distinguish the Module's parts !
So use always te same version 2.59 as any Andy Tool version can give different checksum !
In this case there are no diferences I extracted again all Modules using PMT259 and It is right.

Hi BDMaster,

sorry for the additional work :/ I just try to understand.
The V2 was some post before. But I go through all the jumps and made a now one added it to the post.
I have to say that the understanding is very hard to me.

Maybe you can take another look. If I am wrong, i believe it's better if you do the patch and i will studdy it.
I tried to prevent the code from jumping into the check routine.
When i am wrong, a short how you did it in some words would be nice (if your time is to rare, please just give me the module file or the diff file, thanks) Smile

Thanks for your support.

What i don't understand yet is the Problem one post ago.
I only use the Version 2.59 from Andy's Tool, is this wrong?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Greetings

ZabbensX
