Hi there,

i have a Lenovo L430 Notebook with the newest UEFI BIOS (G3ET97WW[2.57]).

The updater which installs/extracts the BIOS itself can be found here:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/download...D=DS029124

I could open the "$01D4000.FL1" file with phoenixtools, so i hope it's not rsa signed.

The notebook came with an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200 adapter and i'd like to use an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 adapter.

rom image of current BIOS created with Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 in rararchive:

Thanks in advance.

Use Rufus to create your DOS bootable USB Drive. Then copy your files in it.

I used Rufus to create a bootable device, copied the files from the archive and tried flashing the bios from dos mode. got the following error message:

"PDR Region does not exist.
GBE Region does not exist.

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers."

Any ideas?

Maybe ... this bios mod only use HW programmer to flash. Sad
