[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E135 (HMETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#81
(09-17-2014, 05:36 AM)shanny Wrote: Laptop boots normally.
Broadcom BCM4313GN works normally. Intel Cards both are installed (Drivers), but do not find any network.

Here are your screens, hope this is what you mean: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qb2fdwmnrwqykcs/Screens.rar?dl=0

To my method aboth (Have to translate from grman to english):
I went to SystemControl -> Device Manager -> Networkcard -> BroadcomAdapter -> Details -> Now there is a List of HardwareIDs and Compatible IDs. I added a Screen for you.

This is your whitelist :

Whitelist qword_290 :

Now I will try to replace the New PCI Card into It.

Original :
14E4472714E40608 00 = Combo PCI Card Wireless + Blutooth

New :
??? have You posted It to me ? from pic It would be
808608B180864062 00 = Combo PCI Card Intel 7260

Ok I replaced the 3rd :
14E4435914E40607 00 = Combo PCI Card Wireless + Blutooth
So You have Bradcom and Intel into same list and They have to work both !

10EC817610EC8175 00 = Combo PCI Card Wireless + Blutooth
14E4472714E40608 00 = Combo PCI Card Wireless + Blutooth ; Broadcom

I updated the "Screen Directory" for you. Inside of this is a screen of Aida64 from the Intel Card and the failure from the Bios. I hope this will help you.
Secondly I edit the screen from my cards, so you know which card is important for me.

supplement: I reinstall BIOS from Post 58 and make WLAN Card Hack with Pin #20 and #51. Just for a short time I can see my network.
So I hope the Bios Hack will help.

I would know what is working and what not.
If You are not tapeing none Pin Blutooth is working ?
Then tapeing only Pin #20 WLan work ? or only for 10 sec. ?
Its difficult for me understand what is going on and why ! if there is an
incompatibility for Intel 7260 with your laptop.
So I need help.

OK here are my tests:

Pin #20 and 51# - Bluetooth working, WLAN not working (1-3 seconds showing my network after reactivating in Device Manager)
Pin #51 only - Bluetooth working, WLAN not working (1-3 seconds showing my network after reactivating in Device Manager)
W/O Pin Hack - Bluetooth and WLAN not working

According to the WLAN: After starting Windows, no Network is showing. Now, I deactivate and reactivate WLAN Adapter in Device Manager for just 1-3 Secondes I can see my network. After that time n more showing my network. So in my Eyes the Card is deactivated via Windows or Bios, I do not know.

But now I have a new Problem. Suspend does not work with 2.53 Bios.
I tried to remove WL from 2.07, but the free IDA won't open the files.

Can you please remove WL from this BIOS.
