Well, yes, the part with extracting the motherboard from the laptop freaks me out a bit, so... I guess I'll just wait until Lenovo decides to get rid off the protection by themselves.

Hey likudio, yes - pulling a laptop's motherboard out can be challenging at times.

Have you considered selling your Lenovo laptop off and getting another brand?

Can you please PM me how to modify the E430 2.58 BIOS to remove the WLAN whitelist ?
also, can you direct me to a textbook or article or source to learn how to disassemble and modify bios images to remove other whitelists in general or enable advanced options.
