[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad T410 (6IETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#41
(11-21-2010, 07:24 PM)asklodow Wrote: Hi,

I need some help with integrating pathed module, into my lenovo bios.

So, this is what I have done so far ( if there are any stupid steps below, pls understand this is my 1st time bios modding )

1. I have downloaded Bios for T410, link below:
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj17us.exe
Now tell me please how can I get this patched mod int the bios.wph?

phnxpatch (2008) patch files are out of date for these new bios T400/410, X201, i'm working on this subjet, waiting feedback from some users because once patched these machines produce 2 sequences of 5 beeps at boot time.
note: now there is a tool for doing automaticaly what your trying to do manualy, his name: phoenixtool (search in google)

Hi there covering Pin 20 has indeed enabled the Wireless card and I can now see and use it under Windows and OSX. Did you manage to have any luck with the 2 x 5 beeps? Its not a major problem but would be nice to have it fixed!

Thanks a million for you help so far!

I'm definitely still interested, I got side tracked with work and the kids. But I'm talking to you from the comfort of my sofa on the wireless card under OSX that this T410 originally refused to boot with. I'm extremely grateful, and apologise for it taking me so long to get round to trying the taping over pin 20 trick!
