It worked. Great work thanks a lot. You are genius! Unfortunately my house didn't have any EVDO coverage . I needed to find this out the hardway . Now when I boot my Thinkpad T420 I hear eight beeps (grouped in four with a pause), a pause and only then a boot screen. What can I do to get rid of this?

When I try to install my original bios it wouldn't let me since the version number is the same.
