Just joined this forum. I looked at various resources but did not find an answer.
I would like to remove whitelist and rice-up my T440P bios but I am on Linux and did not find a tool I could use to dump the bios.
The one used here seems to be Win only, right?
Can you help please? 

Also - I am on 2.44, and it seems it has a downgrade prevention: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/gluj33us.txt
- Would I still be able to flash a moded bios?
- What's the best bios version for T440P that does not impact performance much with Spectre/Meltdown patches?

Another question - sorry if this was already discussed:
Which BIOS version is considered the best for T440P?

I am on 2.44, which seems not downgrade'able already, so might as well update to the latest one before requesting the mod?

I would like to avoid all Meltdown and Spectre patches as I don't care personally.
I am on Linux and have wired ACPI errors - seems to be a bug in Lenovo bios, so was thinking of upgrading to the latest one.
It's not a showstopper but with my kernel-errors-OCD, I was just thinking if this might help
