[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad X230(i) (G2ETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
Hi dudes, as i see, you make a great work here.
Now i try to remove whitelist to.
Subject is thinkpad x230.
But first of all, i have several questions.

1. There are two chips of bios: 8mb and 4mb. Wich of them i need to flash?

2. I have a "keyboardmod" 7row keyboard from x220 and i flushed EC just from software. And now i just interest where the EC locate? In one of 2 chips? Or somewhere else? Why i can write new EC (for working 7row keyboard) without SPI Programmer, and can not remove whitelist?

3. I haven`t clips and i want to unsolder chip and flush it directly on programmer. All morning I trained on non-working Mat boards and now it doesn't seem to me terrible. I read\write\modify some chips and now i think i ready for this.

4. i want do changes by muself. What i need to modify in chip to remove whitelist. And in wich chip it must be locate? (4mb or 8 mb)

P.S. sory for my english

Hello everyone,

if someone could have a look at my BIOS-Dump (done via Universal BIOS Backup Tool) and remove the Whitelist for my AC 7260, I would be very grateful.

It's Version 2.71

Thanks in advance.

Hi
Your bios chip is rewrite protected
Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only

First use SPI-programmer and make bios dump
