Hi Bios-mods community, First post.
So I am looking to build a hackintosh out of this X220 but it has the whitelist issue with all the wifi cards I can use with OSX.
Is it possible someone could hack the 1.42 bios to remove this?

I've used both of those version successfully on my X220 with the fw5521gw and Intel 7260

I recently upgraded to 1.42 because Lenovo's System update suggested it.. Since this new update however it is not easy to downgrade or roll back to 1.4x or 1.3x

 If the UEFI BIOS has been updated to version 1.42 or higher, it is no longer
 able to roll back to the version before 1.42 for security improvement.

Therefore a whitelisted version of the 1.42 bios would be greatly appreciated!

Got myself an X220 a couple weeks ago, and I really want all the extra bios features + whitelist.

Looking for a modified 1.42 BIOS. It appears to not yet exist anywhere, but I'm willing to pay for it to be created.
Is it even possible to update from 1.42? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
