Error 28 It's normal and It's possible to bypass using prr.exe etc.
Just PRESS ENTER KEY to continue then if Error 28 will reshowed We get an issue !

Try Sleep Bug Too :

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

Hey!

The error 28 did show up twice and never let me flash the BIOS, it just terminated the program, so couldn't do much.

However,
The Sleep Bug with your instructions worked perfectly and I was able to flash it.

I rebooted into BIOS and all the new options were there, so, thank you very much!
One last thing, did you say I should absolutely not touch the video card settings? 
I think you edited your comment, so I'm not sure.
Are those the only options that will result in a brick?
