So i have no idea what do next.You are first who have this problem
We cannot flash mod with USB stick!But we can to flash mod directly into bios chip with HW SPI Programmer and Pomona CLIP.

oh no, it's hard here to get/find this stuff !

i think the problem should be solved much easier since i can access to my BIOS setting properly and all part seems to work fine, only problem is I can not boot from USB or the HDD of the laptop!

isn't there any related BIOS setting which u think it's related to this problem that might worth a shot to play with ????

Finallyyyyyyy i could get my laptop back from the dead !!

i used InsydeH20 Recovery BIOS method which is explained here https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-L...ked?page=2

Important NOTE (FOR THOSE WHO MIGHT READ THIS POST WITH SAME PROBLEM)

DO NOT use the BIOS file from v3.03 !! it didn't worked for me when i used my bios v3.03 back-up ROM file.
i extracted rom file from this file exe http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...vy2113.exe which is version 1.13 which u have to change the name to ZIVY2.bin
and then using the file extracted i could get the flashing process going by method explained above (then u can hear BEEP sound that means it's working ... u won't hear BEEP sound with v3.03 bios file)

now i get how make bios recovery on y50-70, i think i can flash the unlocked bios u provided.

isn't better now flash the bios by DOS-bootable-USB rather than windows?

i remember when i did this command on windows to flash the unlocked bios

cd \
cd modified
fptw64 -f bios.bin -bios

there were 2 yellow lines :

PDR Region does not exist.
GBE Region does not exist.

Also i got following Error when i just tried again to flash unlocked bios by USB in DOS :

PDR Region does not exist.
GBE Region does not exist.

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers.

Edit - so anyway i flashed the unlocked bios by USB again and now again i have the same problem happened to me like before !!!!
so now i figured out the problem. the problem happens because of that Error, ur unlocked bios files is somehow problematic or maybe corrupted !!!

what is bios.bin you used? Original dump or my mod?Try original dump, rename it to bios.bin and flash!

u misunderstood me. i fixed that problem (not being able to boot) with bios v1.3 as i explained in post #31.

now my laptop is alive but on the original bios which is provided by the manufacture.

i tried to use ur mod again in dos (by usb) but i get the error bellow (so again i used #31 method to flash the original bios back)

Ok, i recheck your bios and find errors.
besides, i made combo mod (Unlocked tabs+Removed whitelist) and i redo mod with unlocked tabs only.
I'll send you new mode later!

ok good, Thx bro, finger crust this time i dont get an error or booting problem.

and as long as the gpu oc limitation is gone by new mod, i'm ok.
