I've figured out how to make a backup using the Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0

My laptop is a Lenovo Y50
Any chance you could help me unlock the whitelist on the wifi adapter???

Hi BDMaster,

I ran into an error when I tried it using the sleep bug...

Steps I took:

1. Run Command Prompt in Administrator mode
2. Copy the modified file to C:/
3. Sleep the laptop
4. Follow the instructions in the README.txt file
    a. cd /
    b. cd Modified
    c. fptw -f bios.bin -bios

Here is a screenshot of the error I got:



Any help on this would be much appreciated!

EDIT: I've restarted my computer since then it's still working (phew...), but the BIOS wasn't flashed so it still rejects my new WIFI card

Hello BDMaster:

I would like some help with my BIOS as well. I have a Lenovo Y50 and I believe I am running v1.14
Some other quick specs: It is the 4k/UHD model, i7 4700HQ, and the GTX 860m.
I did the downgrade from 3.03 but am not sure if done proper. The bios works and says 1.14 so I assume.

After looking through the thread I guess you need the results of the bios backups...

Would you be so nice and unlock these for me please? Since NEW bios, 9ECN43WW 3.03, was released a clean installation on usb3 port gives me hidclass.sys error. This use to work fine because I use usb3 ports with Sandisk Extreme flash drives. Just suddenly since I flashed with new bios I got this problem. How can I re-flash or or downgrade bios to previous version?

Yo guys, i got bios version 3.03 . I used UNIVERSAL BIOS BACKUP to get my bios . I get windows 7 x64
