Could I have my BIOS unlocked with your magic(I don't need any WiFi whitelist removal but getting hidden tabs would be quite nice)?
Generated bios backup:

Btw the BIOS is already modified by me (vBIOS overclock of the GTX960m), idk if it matters or not but I would rather not get my board bricked due to that Wink

Replied in PM !

Hello everyone,
I've just found an easy fix for the EC misalignment problem without any additional hardware Big Grin. The process is very simple and probably it would be appropriate to include it in the next BIOS mods released for Lenovo y50-70, so please consider adding it @BDMaster.
So, off to the method:
1. Extract EC from the bios (https://www.sendspace.com/file/hgbw0f - this is the EC of 3..03 version)
2. Copy it along the flashit tool to a flash drive with DOS installed. http://www.mediafire.com/download/004wmc...t+Tool.zip
3. Boot from the drive and just use this command:
flashit ec.bin /ec
Then wait a few seconds.
4. Profit, you get less chance of weird firmware errors, probably they are rare but it's still nice to be protected. Long story short, you no longer get mismatched EC and BIOS(for example 3.03 BIOS and 1.14 EC)

Hey @BDMaster,

could you please unlock my Bios too.
i would really appreciate that.
https://www.sendspace.com/file/laj6i5

I have a question, i read in the Readme.txt from other modified bios version, that no changes should be made with the video card in bios.
Do you mean that before or after the modification?

Thank you in advance!

@BDMaster,
I have a few questions.
I have currently downgraded to v1.13 of my BIOS. I wanna know if I flash the modified BIOS and if after that I update my BIOS back to v3.03, what would that result in? Will it remove the mod? And also is it safe to do so ?
