Hi. please unlock advanced bios for me.
my laptop y50-70 UHD and how unlock monitor refresh rate to 60hz?

Your Bios is version 3.00 so reflashable over Downgrade v.1.14 !
Here You go Downgrade to v.1.14 and then flsh the Bios Mod :

I found another solution - Just in case it was ever needed.
Download the 1.14 version
http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...cn31ww.exe
Then use 7-zip to extract that .exe file, You will find a platform.ini file into that folder.
Then Look for "BIOSVFEnable=2" and replace it with "BIOSVFEnable=0", run as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go !
Verified working !

Sleep Bug on Bios v.1.14 . . .
How to ose the Sleep Bug !
Unpack the archive and copy the into C: HD root place !
Then open Comand Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode and then Wake-Up It, after this execute these comands from CLI window :
fptw64 -f bios.bin -bios

After flashing the Unlocked Bios then look into Advanced for Refresh Hz, but 1st I suggest to
see into your Video Drivers or options !

refresh rate lock from as Lenovo and can unlock vs advanced bios and i don't know where this option please help me to find it.
My display UHD and refresh rate lock at 48hz.lenovo for saving battery lock it in 48hz.standard refresh rate 60hz but for me 48hz please help me.

Yes if your laptop is not Bricked then reflash Original Bios and came back !

Into Bios there isn't this options to select enabled !
So I think is possible only using a modified driver for it !

i hope to unlock advanced menu of bios of lenovo y50-70 bios version 1.14
i flashed the older bios to be able to do this and changed biosvf=0 to be able to use it as mentioned in another thread

P.S. to reflash You can use Sleep Bug too :


Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)
