Just got a new laptop (Y50-70) and bought Intel 7260 AC (7260.NGWWB) for it but getting the error.
I'd appreciate help with getting the new one working, thanks a lot in advance!

ok I tried the bios above and it did not work for me, I got an error from fpt.exe saying platform was not supported.
I have now ran the other file and uplaoded the result.rar to this link:

Regarding the tool at the top, I can't get it to run. Getting error: "7-Zip: Unsupported method."

Is it safe to go forward with latter process before doing the first?

Hi Persojet,
download 7-zip utility and install it. then you can right click that file and extract it all. Once extracted you can run go.bat as administrator and it will save result.rar on your desktop.

I found the issue, It is rhe FPT not 8.1 but 9.5 !!!

And getting "Error 201 (FTP.EXE) Cannot be run on current platform" for the flasher.

E: Totally missed the post before this. Going to do that now.
