Yes You have to Downgrade and then flash the Bios Mod about v. 37 It will produce a disalignement
on EC Code, but laptop will continue to work anyway without issue !

I cant tolerate with y50 wifi connection, please help with bios whitelist removal.
By the way, my system is win10. I'm not sure if this affects.

Read some Posts before ! Best is to Downgrade to 1.30 or 1.31 Bios !

How To Downgrade :

Run this to downgrade:

Remember to set the option in bios that enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.

I found another solution - Just in case it was ever needed.

Download the 1.14 version

http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...cn31ww.exe

Then use 7-zip to extract that .exe file, You will find a platform.ini file into that folder.

Then Look for "BIOSVFEnable=2" and replace it with "BIOSVFEnable=0", run as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go !

Verified working


Then use the tools into posts before to get a reslut file and upload them here !
