I have a Yoga 2 Pro with no drive and I am trying to install a drive that I just happened to have so it is not the original drive. It is a Samsung 840 EVO (MZMTE256HMHP). It is not found in the BIOS. While it is possible it has died, it worked last time I used it and don't have any reason to believe it is bad but noaw way to currently test that since I no longer have anything that uses mSATA. I see this thread is mostly for wireless card but from my research, it seems like SSDs have also been whitelisted. Is that the case? Can I request a mod for my SSD? I don't know how easy that will be without an existing Windows install.

Hi all,

I tried to install 7260NGW AC 04X6007 in my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro and it is not being detected at all. I do not get the unauthorised message, it boots to OS and is not being seen in Device Manager.

Can anyone advise which card can I get for this model? Lenovo part / FRU? I read on 9260 and 7265 but which one is better and which one will work definetly, after whitelisting?
