Prepare the USB formatting It as Fat32 and do Bootable !
See how to make one here:

Then copy into your UBS root place these files from Bios Mod folder :

Flash.bat
phlash16.exe
SLIC_NWL.ROM

So now Boot from USB how to do ?
Go into Bios Menu Setup and (Disable SecureBoot if present, Set Legacy Bios USB if present)
choice Peripheral to Boot USB and reboot on It !
When You get CLI window C:\ then execute

Flash.bat (hit enter to run)

That's It !
Let me know

I managed to boot from USB a fifth time.
Now I get program stoped at step 'Check flash memory type(s)'

Hello,
still have some problems

I run Windows, first opened folder bios_mod->BIOSUPTP and flash BIOSUPTP.EXE
after program displayed error messages:

A component is missing from the BIOS FlashUpdate. Try to downloading the BIOS FlashUpdate program from Web site again.

Pressed 'Ok'...

To run BIOS FlashUpdate again, correct any problems that occured while you were running the update. Then run the BIOS FlashUpdate again.

and all files (excepted bioasuput. exe and bioswl.rom) disapeared from the from the folder

I tried to use WinFlash.
Opened folder Windows and flash WinFlash.exe, opened advance settings, checked and unchecked boxes like ReadMe.txt explains (but I defenetly don't understand how should I flash original BIOS version first).
Press 'FlashBIOS' and program stoped on the last step immediately. So I had to restart the system

I copied files from folder DOS to bootable Flash Drive and boot system with it.
System displayed warning message about corrupt files, I pressed YES, then program stoped....

Could you please explain it better what I defentely should do step by step...

Hey frind,
It means that if You have an older version You have to update this at
new (same like Bios Mod) as the CMOS can contain disallined data !
So only if your Bios Version is not same You have to do this update !!!
I hope You understand that You nave not to do this as your Bios is
already updated (just one time is enough) !!!
Regards

P.S. There are two files as 1st is only NWL ans 2nd is SLIC + NWL

I have a Z60m that I want to install a TP-Link Wn861N wireless card and I am running BIOS ver 1.05 (77ET42WW):
download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/77uj06us.exe

The download file (above) has been deleted but will it work for my Z60m to remove the white list for the non-IBM wireless card?

Can you post one that will work? Thanks.
