Yes, I saw that users post, but I do not understand her reply, I want to make sure her/his laptop is not bricked after update, or if it is just WWAN card not working for them.

I need the *.iso version (bootable cd-image) of your modified BIOS 6yuj10us_NWL_ByCamiloml.exe, because i'm using Linux, without a Windows. It is possible for you? Of course, i would donate for you.

With the *.iso, i can grub4dos my sdcard, and modify the bios in bios-mode on next bootup.

I answered your PM, but i will repeat here for everyone.

For this bioses is good to have a windows live cd, boot from it and flash from windows.

The iso flashing utility is DOS based, and i would have to reverse it to patch the checks and make it work with modded bioses, it's a time i don't have, sorry. So, go and download a live cd verison of windows and use it for this tricks

Back again, after a crazy night.

Getting a brand new battery for my Edge13, but it doesn't work. After creating a LiveXP with BartPE and booting up the utility it says "please load your battery to 100%". But how? The old one is broken, the new one not accepted (original FRU? crazy...). Next problem, i've already had 1.19 so first i've to downgrade.

Ok lets start...

- Downgrading in DOS-mode to 1.17 by OEM-BIOS
- Booting LiveXP
- Decompress the modified BIOS
- Starting WinPhlash.exe in folder /32bit, because battery-check will not carried out
- Backup old BIOS
- Select new BIOS-file $0A6Y000.FL1 ( 0A6Y is for 0196/0197-models, 0A6Z is for 0217/0221/0250-models) in / (You've to set "Show all files")
- Upgrading
- Succeeded
- Donating camiloml
