Camilo,
Is there anything from my side that I can tell you that would help?

Thanks,
Curtis

Ok, let's shoot another try Smile

Don't worry if you see the unsupported wireless errors on boot, just wait a moment and see if it boots and doesn't hang. Smile

BIOS REPOSITORY.Please consider donating (me or forum) if you like my work.
Please remember to come back and leave feedback. I hate leech and disappear thing.

Nice day.

Camilo,

Tried this latest BIOS but the system haulted when I installed the new dual band combo card. The error is:

Wireless module not supported.
The system has detected a Wireless module instaled in the system is not supported. The system haluted. Please remove device and restart.
WLAN Module ID (702)

I tried to restart but on restart I got a blank screen with the caps lock kept blinking (2 long flashes).

I needed to pull the battery to clear CMOS and reinstall the old wifi card (Intel centrino 1030N). Then on boot the screen showed an error of: invalid checksum press enter to clear cmos and restart.

What do you think?

Regards,
Curtis

Camilo,
Sounds like I should make a backup flashdrive!
I'll try it but what makes it a harder patch?

Thanks,
Curtis

Hi,
I am able to boot to windows with this one. The Realtek 8188CEB8 card doesn't install properly though. Seems to need a driver; which I cannot find. And eventhough I purchased this card through the hp store, hp support has no driver for it. The blu-tooth functions of the card do install automatically. I can't seem to find a driver for this combo wifi card anywhere.
Is it possible that this could be a BIOS issue?

Thanks,
Curtis
