Hi mate, could you kindly make me a bios file to

enable NVME,Raid, all overclocking functions, everything that is tested to work for this Alienware 17 R2 Smile Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
and is it possible for the system to support > 16gb memory ? now it only support 16, lets say 32 ? Tongue

Can my service tag remain ? as the system still has extended warranty.

So yes, it can be enabled  Send me a dump of your BIOS region via FPT - Check BIOS main page and see if ME FW version is shown, if not then download HWINFO64 and on the large window on left side, expand motherboard and find ME area, inside that get the ME Firmware version.  Once you have that, go to this thread and in the section "C" download the matching ME System Tools Package (ie if ME FW version = 10.x get V10 package, if 9.0-9.1 get V9.1 package, if 9.5 or above get V9.5 package etc)
https://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-Management-Engine-Drivers-Firmware-amp-System-Tools.html

Once downloaded, inside you will find Flash Programming Tool folder, and inside that a Windows or Win/Win32 folder.  Select that Win folder, hold shift and press right click, choose open command window here (Not power shell).  At the command prompt type the following command and send me the created file to modify >> FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin

If you are stuck on Win10 and cannot easily get command prompt, and method I mentioned above does not work for you, here is some links that should help
Or, copy all contents from the Flash Programming Tool \ DOS folder to the root of a USB Bootable disk and do the dump from DOS (FPT.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin)

Discovered this thread quite late. I'm using Alienware 15R1. Could you help me unlock the bios? Thank you so much!

Hi,
Just wanted to say thank you for unlocking Aptio V BIOSes for people. I could have done it myself with a few tools on an Aptio IV system, tools are publicly available out there, but none for V.
I currently own a 17 R2 running the relatively new A12 bios, with mitigations a for a few exploits on Haswell chips. could it be unlocked ?

A12 bios file extracted from my computer : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1LoJNIU...MLMQCSqGUi

Thanks in advance

Huge edit incoming :

I actually found out about AMIBCP V5 and started tinkering around. Was able to toggle a few things on, but i'm pretty stuck on the "invisible menu" thing. the whole "setup" part of the "main" folder doesn't show up after flashing. tried using a hex editor to find the relevant toggles, only to fail miserably. Will update as I find my way.
