I managed to flash your bios successfully, but that gap wher eyou said you put the optioon has gone, and the option is not there either.

t mean this item that i injected can't appear on bios screen.
It's be hidden.
And the pbd can't open this bios normally ,so we can't set its setting value.

Now i meet a trouble.
I found the real address for item "SATA AHCI Mode" ,but it can't build bios again.

I used phoenixtool open this bios ,it will extracted all module to dump folder ,then i mod module and re-bulid it.
Now can't build it.

Or maybe this address is unavailable?

I have no idea, I mean looking through that PBE tool, there is sata in there, and this chipset the computer has supports ahci, So i do notunderstand why it would not build or work. I am no expert. I really am greatful for your help thus far!!


Looking through the unlocked bios's a Mr Ahmed Hossam https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/User-AHMED-HOSSAM, seems to have success with a similar cq60 model. However it seems these cq60's have either intel or amd Cpu's and mine has an amd.

On this mod , i swapping item[ language] to [SATA AHCI Mode].
I don't know why it can't appear.

 i do not know either why it would not show up, but something is obviously changing in the bios.  is there a way to automatically have it set to ahci?

Is there anything else that can be done? Do you have any collegues you could call upon for advice? The laptop i have goes back to a family member on sunday.
