[Request] HP Mini 2140

Hi

I'm trying to revive my beloved HP Mini 2140 which has suffered quite a few knocks in storage over the past several years. Unfortunately after attempting to power it on for the first time since 2011 - there appeared to be a few issues, one of which is the wireless card. I really love this little machine due to it's size - they really don't make them like this any more! So I'm hoping someone from here will be able to help me with this - I've replaced the memory, hard drive and thermal paste on this machine and now it works; that is except wifi.

The wireless card in the machine is completely dead and so I've had to replace it with one the several Intel 7260 cards I've had laying around - sort of as expected the bios has a whitelist and therefore I get an error message and refusal to boot.

I see that back in 2011 the whitelist was successfully removed from the bios in this thread:

Unfortunately none of the files are available any more... Is there any chance someone could repeat what was done back then for me?
