This Forum is very great and informative.

I wanted to have full access to my Insyde Bios, to overclock in BIOS and having access to all Tabs in BIOS (Screenshot).

BIOS flash sucessfull But when go to BIOS setup. It's still the same.

You flashed version R0092C6 not your R0093C6
I don't think It's been flashed into eeprom Chip but too check I need your result file !
So use this tool run It as Admin and upload here the result file :

Then I will extract all and check if You flashed or not the Bios Mod !

I got the same laptop model and same BIOS version as the OP when he originally created this thread. 

The Vaio Z community has previously made hacked BIOS's for different models but for some reason, the SVZ ones never got any. This is what worries me a bit before I attempt to flash your mod. I am really, really scared of bricking my device, since I'm not sure my knowledge is good enough to unbrick it, and Vaio repair centers are far away these days, and warranty is already gone as it is.

What I'm really trying to achive is not a complete unlock per se, but to somehow disable the C-State "C6" (atleast I think it is), which causes a high-pitched CPU whine noise with my i7.

Do you think you can help? I also see the other thread with hontechai where you gave him some BIOS's to try but it seemed like it failed? Any difference in the mod you did to the BIOS in this reahd (r0092c6) and what you did to his BIOS?
