Request Unlock Lenovo y40-80

Hello,

I would like to request and unlock of my bios for whitelist removal and advanced tabs available. If someone can post the links for software needed to check if bios can be modded or programmed would be greatly appreciated I am receiving dead links off other post.

Hi mate,
We get Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space !!!

Your Eeprom Chip is Write Protected !!!

Now We have to see if Sleep Bug is Activate yet !
So put your laptop into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It
(reopen the Lid), then redo the result files (I hope last time !)

If into result after Sleep Bug We haven't Error 280 then We can try to flash
the Bios Mod otherwise We have to use the Tools (SPI PGM + Clip) . . .

Lets say I purchase the clip and spi. Do I just read the bios and upload it?
