Request for enabling BIOS options on Lenovo Flex 15

I tried to flash it from USB under DOS. Unfortunately I met a problem saying Error 201: [FPT.exe] cannot be run on the current platform. Please contact your vendor. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

I can see issue. you are using win98 DOS instead of DOS 6.22

And instead of FreeDOS use MS-DOS

Then transfer the contents and run flash.bat again

I regret to inform you but after a little digging (https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...st-Removal) states that an SPI Programmer is required.

if DOS 6.22 still gets FPT error then you may have to use External SPI Programmer to flash BIOS, which requires opening up your laptop

But the BIOS image i posted should work if you do use the Ext Programmer

Sorry I couldnt be of any more help. Ive just learned myself that >mid 2014 lenovo's have EEPROM Write Protection, so only ext programmer could be used
