I have successfully flashed the new BIOS, however I do not have the new wifi adapter yet. As soon as I install it I will give an update if it is working or not. Thanks for the quick reply!

Note: I could not find the download to FPT_BACKUP-BIOS.exe that would
work, I have 64 bit win7. I will run the backup if someone can post the
link. I searched the wiki, help, tooks and did a search and didn't find anything
on it.

The other toolkit 2.0 threw a kernal error and then my virus detected a trojan
with it, so I stopped persuing that one.

Hello all,

I am very upset at Lenovo's point of view on this whitelist business. But to keep it short, I would like to get a hold of a modded bios. Can someone help me? I know this bios has been fixed in the past but all the links are dead. Thanks in advance! Smile

My bios extracted from executable updater:

Also, if you feel the way I do about this support it!

The second program didn't detect my bios, so I forced 8MB backup. I think this bios is 8MB, does that work?
