#1
I have been trying to inject microcode into the bios for the gateway zx6800 for a few days now and I have hit a dead end. would someone be willing to help me get the code injected?

here are the files https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dg8sm3o2vxs9s...cjt_a?dl=0

Thank you, i will try it tomorrow and let you know how it turned out. may i ask how you did it? I tried to do it myself for about a week on all sorts of different operating systems and software with no luck. Was I just using the wrong software (the files i had included in the shared folder)? This is the site that I used for instructions: https://www.delidded.com/how-to-update-c...enix-bios/

thanks again

Thanks and I like to know how you modify it.
Can you share the procedures and tools you have used to insert the microcode to your BIOS?

Its a phoenix bios ,so you need phoenix bios editor to mod it.
When you open bios ,on the same folder has a temp folder that extract all module.
UPDATE00.ROM is mcode module on temp folder ,it didn't need re-checksum ,so you can replace mcode direct(suggest you don't change module size).

After replace new module you need use PBE build new bios.
