Suitable hardware BIOS Flasher for Dell Vostro 200?

Hi folks,

Can somebody advise me as to a suitable hardware programmer I could use with a Dell Vostro 200 BIOS chip? I have 7x of these machines, all identical.

I am using one as a test subject, and figure it'd be a worthwhile investment in case the board gets bricked.

Do you know who is the maker of the bios. Try to find out by booting one up and pressing f10.

The BIOS is an Award file, I don't recognise the microchip on my motherboard though.

You will need to make a dos bootable flash drive

Download awdflash;

Extract Bin file from bios.exe by using 7zip

put bin file awdlash.exe on usb flash

boot on from usb flash

run awdflash899.exe

type biosname.bin

I have no idea what that is but why would need this if you're just flashing bios to your motherboard
