[Test, PO10220] Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 unlock request
#1
Hi, I would like to know if my Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 could be modded to have the advanced menu option in bios.
Bios is here: http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-file...083938.zip
Thank you.

Bump,
because I'm also very interested in this. My Toshiba Satellite A300 uses the very same BIOS.
It's good to know off-hand that the current BIOS supports up to the T9900, in case I make an upgrade. Big Grin
Since the CPU support question is out of the way, I'm more interested in RAM frequency options (I want to lower from 800MHz to 533MHz, for a 1:1 ratio). Smile
BTW, your configuration is spectacular, a T9900 + 8GB of RAM! Cool

Is changed only advanced menu, but there aren't fsb frequency, ram..
I would like to take cpu to 3,4/3,5Ghz and fsb/ram to 1:1, but I especially need OC my ati 3650 512mb from 600/500 to 800/600! Thanks again for great work! Regards.

I'm sorry, camiloml, but for now I can't test it, because I do not have my laptop with me. I'm using the work laptop. Sad
I should get back home soon. I'll test it then.

Sorry, but this bios has no built-in OC options hidden, so i cannot unhide them Sad

The absense of OC options was something I was expecting...the A300 is a laptop, after all.
But I was hoping that there was, at last, a RAM frequency menu. Sad

Bumping with images from my laptop, as promised. Wink
All of the following have changeable options, although I don't understand what most do. Tongue But those I do understand are already on the recommended setting, so I didn't change them.

The options on the boot tab are not changeable (besides the ones that were already there, the boot order). I have no idea if that was intended or not. Undecided

So...bottom line: It works, but there isn't much to alter or personalize.
Thank you camiloml. Smile

EDIT: If you take a second look to the BIOS files, could you please see if there are any RAM speed options? Thank you.
