Hi all!

I have a major problem with reinstalling fabric windows 7 to xp on hp pavilion dm1-3280eg with insydeh20 bios rev 3.5. Problem arrives, when I launch windows setup from usb and it doesn't see the hard disk drive. I need to unlock advanced options to change the hard drive controller from ahci to sata/ide. The bigger problem is that the system is not launching, computer freezes. Please help me!

I managed to unlock these forms in my InsydeH2O Bios 3.5 on my Packard Bell Dot-S netbook. You may try those scripts on your bios. Check, if your machine has some recoveryfeature.

Run main.py -v infile outfile (with switch -v for verbose, to see if it finds hidden forms and unhides them)

Re-run the patched bios (outfile) through the script (main.py -v outfile). If there are no errors it should be ok.

Hi, i have a problem with no access to some features on the BIOS, i want to limit the amont of ram that my Graphic card takes off my laptop or correct it since Windows all the time shows up 784MB of RAM out of 2GB installed. I tried using Hiren's Boot CD to run MiniWindows XP and it shows the same amount of RAM, so there is something weird on the BIOS related to RAM settings.

My HP model is = DM1-2160la
BIOS = InsydeH2O version 3.5
Bios Modification Ver = F.17
