acer aspire 7720g upgrade to 9600gt 1gb

I have updated the bios InsydeH20 CL50145A.
The problem is that I have a Nvidia 9600 GT 1GB geforte
and when i try to switch on the notebook (pressing the start botton)
Where i´m wrong? Could you please help me?

is like it don´t have electricity.. it don´t works properly
is dead. And when i insert the old graphic card 8600 gt, it works. The system works succesfully
it´s necessary to activate anything else for reading gt9600 1gb?
