bios request mobo mcp61pm-gm

Hi i posted in the wrong area last time soo im sory for that lol .. but i wanna know if i change my processor (emachines 1331g05w amd athlon x2 250u 1.6ghz ) to say a highr ghz processor/ still a dual core like a amd athlon x2 255 or 260 processor will i have to flash my bios?? i have the mcp61pm-gm mobo any help would be great thanks!

You should be able to use the Abit Unlocked retail bios for this board as it is part of the MCP61xxxxx serries of motherboards from many OEM manufacturers. Search the forum for more information and check out the thread on the HP N ettle 2 which was the board where most of the testing for that bios took place
