I just wanted to report that the BIOS mod is working perfectly in my HP DV6T-2000CTO.  I now have a new combo WIFI/Bluetooth card that no longer chokes upon startup, AHCI enabled with an SSD.  No tears but the tears of joy.  Thank you very much for your excellent contribution.

Hi i think this thread is dead but i have to ask is that modded bios work for my Dv7t-3300 pavilion??? im trying to upgrade the wifi card in it and trying to remove the whitelist
