eMachines W3611 request

Please move if necessary. Could not find an Intel BIOS mod section.

No current BIOS download for this computer. BIOS backup pulled using "Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0"

ACPI tables (all) saved with "RwV1.4.9

My request is BIOS enabled configuration for memory and processor. I usually use SetFSB with the CV110JPVG clock generator, but it resets every bootup/restart, and is buggy, as sometimes I can go over 225 FSB from stock 20, and sometimes only 214, before freezing computer, requiring a forced shutdown via powerbutton.

Memory config, Id like to be able to change ram ratio, currently 3:5, which gets the ram speed a bit high with 220FSB, though memtest reports zero errors

I appreciate all help in advance. I did not want to resort to BSEL pin modding to bump FSB, as I dont think this motherboard supports it in its current BIOS form.


Final goal, better memory control, and capable to touch FSB to 250Mhz



this desktop is stock except for harddrive change, ram change (2x1Gb), and Nvidia 8500GT PCIEx16 card
