g560 whitelist remove bios lock remove

I have a g560 with a bios lock, is there a way to mod past this? i also want to upgrade to Intel Dual Band .-AC 7260 to add faster wifi/ Bluetooth functionality but I need a way past the whitelist.
my bios is the latest one currently available 

-Model: IdeaPad G460 G560

-Bios Revision: 29CN38WW (V2.15)

-Bios Release: 14 Feb 2011

this is a link to a modded bios that supposedly works for removing the whitelist, is there a way to check this? I dont want to flash it before I can confirm it works without bricking.
