hello there, im new to this forum... recently i was searching for a problem with my laptop and i found this thread what's the difference between the stock bios and slic ?

SLIC is how OEM's activate their laptops - its a method of offline activiation , if you have a matching slic table in your bios and install a corresponding certificate and key then windows activates offline (as the manufacturers do it in the factory)

thnx, also i have another question..... dont know if it was a bios update but processor got stuck @ 800mhz no matter what i do, what OS i use it gets stuck @ 800mhz, the only way to fix it is to have running 2 full speed 2.2ghz (laptop gets hot) ... :/
