Yes, BIN and SIG files are yours, HP TOOLS idea came from thopiekar, but it was not working, until I give flash disk HP_TOOLS Label.

And why great surprise?

btw, I've read my laptop manual more thorougfully, and it has a list of compatible wifi adapters so instead of flashing the bios, I'll get the correct one.

Camiloml, is the SP55088 mod in the repository the same on in this thread? I tried the one in the repository for my HP 2000-361NR and got a semi-brick like this user. Thankfully the recovery he posted worked.

Is there a finished version of SP55088 or perhaps sp55626, the newest bios?
