Hi Friend!

Hopefully you can help with my T430s. I have uploaded the files.

The other file is too big so I'm using my dropbox for it.  Results.rar is attached in this post.

With regards to the full dump from the programmer - I still can't find the actual USB chip.  Do really need that file for the patch?
Your Eeprom Chip is MX25L12805D ID:0xC22018 Size: 16384KB (131072Kb)

So read this one I need It as We have to rewrite It and I cannot use only a part
(Bios Region) as when We will rewrite It We will write only a chunck and destroy the
original locking inesorabily the laptop !

Hi BDMaster!

So I just finished removing the T430s motherboard and it really started so bad (I Stripped one of the screws for the motherboard and I had to drill it out) Sad

Anyway aside from the hurdle, my next problem was finding the actual bios chip.

I looked at the whole motherboard (removed the black tapes) and I was not able to find the BIOS chip!

The only closest chip is this flat bigger one which I'm not sure that if its it (I attached a photo).

Unfortunately, using my HW clips, it can't detect that one.  I've tried flipping/changing settings, etc .. all failed - un-detected.

Is that the right chip?

On a random note, I also have a W530 and I will probably start a new thread for that - but I have located the BIOS chip on that W530 which looks so different from the T430s.
Ok MX25L128 = 16 MBytes and It can be that one !
See into this guide there is a pic which shows where is the Eeprom Chip on
Ucupz MoBo (M25L32 = 4 MB) :

I can say that normaly the Eeprom Chips are always near the Chipset as
It needs the maximal Power to read and write ! so find the Chipset and You
will find the Eeproms !
Let me know
