I want to upgrade my T430 to use an (Intel) 802.11ac card. What do I need to provide to get the whitelist removed?

I have a BusPirate that I've used to flash a T60, so it should work here. Do I need to use that to get a dump, or can I make a dump via software? I know I'll need to use the BusPirate to flash the modded BIOS.

Hi
Read PM

I pretty much have the same problem with a T430 type 23445PU. I'm not sure if it's a bios problem (2.72, only downgradable to 2.71) or battery firmware problem or both. I think the battery may be genuine though since I tried the Lenovo battery FW update on it and another laptop with a genuine battery, swapping back and forth without luck (it would not update "due to internal error" in all cases). Power Manager reports battery in in pristine condition. Battery meter says "XX%, charging" but it doesn't actually charge (charge level remains the same overnight). Tried all the posted tricks (drivers uninstalled, pressing keys with battery removed, AC unplugged, etc.) without success. Please help. Attached are both backups by CH341A and the universal backup tool. Many thanks!
I have a 2349R97 with BIOS rev v2.65.

I'd love to have a modded v2.72 BIOS that removes whitelist (and more like adding TDP settings, Overclock/MSR 0x194 bit unlock, AES-NI Unlock, etc)

Any chance? Smile

Original v2.72:

Hello guys.

I just bought the Broadcom Bcm94322 Bcm94322hm8l Mini Pci-e Wireless Wifi Card but my T430 doesn't accept it. Is there any modded bios to download that permits me to install it?

I also am very new to the modded bios community, and actually don't know how to do it. I know that this topic has already been covered through the 16 pages, but I am having a hard time to comprehend some of the steps needed to do it.

I really appreciate your patience if you could help me. Some guides or another threads would be really helpful.

Thanks and sorry for the repetition.

Thanks for the response Dudu. Is there a topic here which teaches how to do it?

Also, how do I request a personal modded BIOS for my T430? I only need it to recognize the WiFi Card (BCM 94322).

Thanks

first you need to buy SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip
Request to remove whitelist
I dumped the BIOS with SPI-Programmer.
