Yikes...Well, I'm hoping you (or someone else knowledgeable) can help me with trying this out on  G500. I have both the clip and programmer, as well as the software and drivers. However, I can't get the CH341A software to detect anything. It does show the that the programmer is connected, it just can't identify the chip?... I've attached some photos of how I've set everything up, if someone could take a look and point out what I might be doing wrong I'd appreciate it.

All HW has to be aligned to Pin #1 !
Many times Clip is not good and cannot read the Chip !

What does that mean?
The refer is Pin #1 on Chip then Pin # on Clip and last Pin #1 on Programmer !
All this tools have to be aligned each other using this refer !
But I got the issue You wrote using a Clip not tested and cheaper !

I finally got the right configuration! I've attached the G500 read BIOS here, in the original thread: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-M...9#pid92219
hello to everyone,

i would kindly like to ask you guys for a whitelist and hidden menus mod to the bios of my G510...

reading all the threads on this laptop i realized that it is locked for flashing, however i will order HW EEPROM programmer and have it reprogrammed that way.

the results and bios backup files are in the attachment (the bios backup is around 6 mb, i don't know if this is normal since the size should be 8192kb???)

if this works i'm buying one of intel's dual band centrino cards...

thanks upfront!

Hi friend,
I want to start a New Way to pass Mods to users :

AutoMod

Using CodeRush Tool UEFIPatch + Patches.txt We can do the Mod by ourself, in any time and wherever We are !!!

Just use the right Patches.txt for the own Bios Version, so for 79CN48WW use this one !!!

How to use ? It's easy, just do a biosbackup.bin file and drag&drop on UEFIPatch.exe (the Patches.txt file has to be togheter at tool) It will reply with a file patched, then rename that file as bios.bin, put It into modified folder where are all rest tools to re-flash Bios Mod and copy all files from modified folder to an USB Dos Formatted Bootable Stick and Boot from USB !
Then at CLI Prompt Comand run flash.bat That's It all !

Here CodeRush Tool :

http://rghost.net/56830811

The Patches.txt file for 79CN48WW :

http://rghost.net/56932848

Here Modified folder with all tools to re-flash Bios Mod from USB, follow instructions :

http://rghost.net/56795507

I hope It will become the New Mod Way !!!
