i finally got the tools.
Now i'm kinda stuck since the programmer software i found online has support for W25Q64BV and my chip is W25Q64FV
Should it work? i'll try searching for an updated version of the software (maybe i'm lucky)

BV or FV no differences so You have to read your Firmware !

I must be doing something wrong because i can't seem to get it to work
programmer connected to usb(open software 1.17(admin or no admin)) - Device status: connected
after i attach the sop8 cable to chip - Device status: not connected
(tried it on win 8.1 64 bit and also on win 7 32 bit)
i'm starting to think i'm just gonna have to take the chip off the motherboard and i don't think i am that qualified

Do I must get out the entire mainboard to find the Eeprom Chip? If I only open the undersideļ¼can I find the Eeprom Chip?
